Web Developer
IFSA-Butler is seeking a Web Developer. This position reports to the director of information technology and is a salaried position with a competitive benefits package including, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plan and generous paid time off.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in information technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Three to five years of experience managing web development projects, web applications and media streaming • Working knowledge of and experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and web developing tools such as Dreamweaver and Adobe • Working knowledge of and experience with Joomla • Working knowledge of and experience with JavaScript, PHP, CSS, HTML and XML • Experience with video encoding • Must be focused, organized, imaginative and creative • Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Experience as business analyst preferred, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive strategy and direction for overall architecture of Internet, web-based applications, and integration and data architecture domain • Work with senior level management to understand their business objectives, drivers, concerns and issues • Leverage technical skills with business acumen to produce effective results • Act as team lead on web development projects • Creatively utilize emerging and existent technology to best deliver IFSA-Butler marketing message • Manage and maintain aspects of Web Servers • Liaise with marketing/communications departments and the Web Committee on new programming, site features, and concepts • Negotiate compromises between differing audiences
