NEW! Teacher Education and Student Teaching in Ireland

IFSA-Butler is delighted to announce a new program that allows students to take education coursees and have practical classroom experience, including student teaching, in Northern Ireland. Teacher Education at Stranmillis University College allows students to take courses from up to four tracks (elementary, secondary, early childhood, and health and leisure education) and to spend about 25 percent of their semester working directly with students in local schools.

IFSA-Butler will assist students with the process of verifying that course selections meet degree program approval and state requirements for teacher education licensure. IFSA-Butler will also advise applicants about the process for obtaining a police clearance for Northern Ireland before departure.

This program is located in dynamic, student-friendly Belfast, Northern Ireland. For more information on this terrific new opportunity, click here.
