Welcome to the IFSA-Butler online application. We have divided the application into eight easy steps, with tips and application instructions throughout the process. At the end of the process, you will have a chance to review and revise your answers.

When you have finished the application and confirmed all of your answers, our site will outline some of the additional application materials and forms that you must send to our office.

Please be sure to discuss your study abroad plans and application with your on-campus study abroad advisor prior to applying online with IFSA-Butler. Your institution may have specific requirements that are different from those of IFSA-Butler.

In order to complete this application, you must have the following:

• A printer
• A credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) - this is a secure web site.
  

Please note that paying the $30 nonrefundable application fee via credit card on our secure server is required for our online application. If you prefer to pay the application fee with a check or money order, or if your home college or university pays the application fee on your behalf, please download a PDF application. Note that the application fee for PDF (paper) applications is $50. Online applicants must still download a smal PDF packet of forms that others must complete on their behalf.

You must meet the following criteria to study abroad through IFSA-Butler:

• Undergraduate student at a two- or four-year college
• Your home university must be in the U.S. or Canada

We reserve the right to reject applicants on the basis of academic, disciplinary, conduct and other considerations. If you are concerned that you might not be accepted on the basis of one of these considerations, please contact us at 800-858-0229 to discuss your options.
