Volunteer opportunities are available in conjunction with our Argentine Universities Program in Buenos Aires. Placements will be arranged after your arrival in Argentina. Past placements have included work with:

• Democracia Representativa, an organization seeking to strengthen representative democracy in Argentina.

• ADEPRA, an organization that works to rescue stray animals.

• LIFE Argentina, an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children in marginalized neighborhoods through nutrition assistance, recreation, literacy and education programs.

• Pilotos Solidarios, an organization that provides general and medical assistance to isolated rural communities.

• AMUMRA, any organization created to assist migrant women and children in Buenos Aires.

• Cicerones, an organization whose objective is to promulgate the beauty and cultural diversity of the city of Buenos Aires.

• AMARTYA, an organization that promotes social responsibility.

• Riesgo Cero, an organization created to provide sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS prevention information.

• Sociedad de Integración Gay Lésbica Argentina, an organization that works to promote the social integration of the GLBT community.

• CARE, an organization that promotes equal access to communication and information technology.

• Proyectarte, an organization seeking to promote and spread art created by young Argentine artists.

• Campus Travel, a travel agency for student travelers.
