What the UNSW summer program has to offer
• Extensive experience in short-term study abroad programs
• A combination of travel throughout Australia and an academic introduction to the country’s business, culture and history
• Spend the first two weeks in Darwin, Northern Territory, including a four-day camping trip in Kakadu National Park to visit an indigenous community
• Spend three weeks at the UNSW campus
• Students travel to tropical Cairns near the Great Barrier Reef and lush rainforests during the final week of the program

Housing

• When traveling, housing ranges from budget-style hotels and student apartments to camping accommodation
• UNSW provides daily breakfast and lunch during campus program portion
• All meals are included during stay at Kakadu National Park

Academics
• Students choose from one core course in history with one elective course, a tourism course or an Australian film and television culture course
• A wide range of elective courses available
• Each course option is worth 8 U.S. semester credit hours
