This is my first update in a long time! I made the mistake of bringing a netbook abroad, which is super slow and makes video editing next to impossible. I have tons and tons of things filmed and have figured out a solution, so expect to see a whole bunch of updates from me now!
Following are a few clips of various performers in Plaza Francia, a beautiful plaza adjacent to the world famous Recoleta Cemetery (which is a very awesome cemetery of ornate mausoleums and only a few blocks from my apartment). However, these aren’t all your typical street performers…

At the beginning of February, I went to the world famous Cataratas del Iguazú for two days. La Garganta del Diablo (The Devil’s Throat) is the largest single waterfall in the park, and while standing next to it and getting soaked, there was a group of guys playing drums!
I have a couple more videos to post from Iguazú, but they require some editing, so they’ll come at a later date. However, if you want to read about my experience at Iguazú and see all the photos I took, you can do so at my personal blog.

I’ve got some exciting stuff coming in the next few days, but for now, here’s a short video I shot of a couple lion cubs playing at the Buenos Aires zoo!

I think it’s important that the first thing I share on this blog is that I hate packing. Anyway, moving away from the mundane (hopefully) I am about to depart for Buenos Aires a few weeks early! Once there, I am going to work on an organic farm (through WWOOF) until the start of the program. I have contacted a bunch of farms but haven’t finalized anything, so I am going to stay at a hostel for a few days until I get a response. Internet access from the farm will most likely be non-existent, but hopefully I will get some good video to post when I return!
