The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page
-Saint Agustine
Originally I planned on making my final post a summation of all the great things I did while I’ve been here. But I’ve spent all semester doing that. What I haven’t talked about much of on my blog are the great people I met on this trip: you guys. So enough about me, let’s talk about you.
I came here speaking not a lick of spanish but it was you guys who helped me through that. It sounds cheesy I know, but I’m not sure I would’ve survived without all your help. ...
Adult Swim

I’ve been told it’s harder to learn to swim as an adult than as a child (anyone who’s seen my host nephew Carlitos swim would be convinced). About three months ago I told myself I would come back to the cenotes at Cuzamá once I learned how. Last weekend I made good on that promise.
It was fun while it lasted, life jacket.
