About Universidad de Valparaíso
Universidad de Valparaíso (UV) is a medium sized university with nine faculties and several campuses. UV is home to about 10,000 students, fewer than 2 percent of whom are international students. This high ratio of Chilean students makes UV an attractive option for students who want to truly immerse themselves into Chilean culture and academic life. The university is renowned for its support of fine arts and encourages students to attend the abundant exhibitions, concerts and film festivals on campus.

You may enroll in up to two classes in the Faculty of Economics and Business or Faculty of Humanities. Exceptional students may qualify for enrollment in the Faculty of Marine Sciences. Remember that in addition to your university coursework, you must take the Advanced Written and Oral Spanish program course.
