What the Egyptian Music,Islamic Art and Architecture concentration has to offer
• Study at Helwan's campus in central Cairo, located in the upscale, Bohemian and historic Zamalek neighborhood
• Ideal for students from any major who are interested in fine arts, including applied art and music, ethnomusicology, architecture and design
• No prior study of Arabic language required

Housing
• Choose between living with a host family or in an IFSA-Butlerstudent apartment (the number of available host families is limited)
• Host families provide most meals, while students living in apartments prepare their own meals

Academics
• Curriculum includes language courses, one or two program courses and independent study
• Independent work is individually tailored to students' interests through faculty at Helwan's prestigious Colleges of Music and Art
