Charges listed below are approximate costs and may be subject to change. Any fees over and above these approximate costs will be billed to the responsible party as we receive them from the host university.

1. University of Bristol
Students assigned to residence halls with mandatory meal plans will be billed approximately $1,800 to $3,000 per year.

2. Cambridge University
Additional fees of approximately $2,000 for the semester or $4,000 for the year are charged for enrollment in the following disciplines: architecture, chemical engineering, computer science, electrical science, engineering, geography, managerial studies, music and natural sciences.

3. †City University
Additional fees are charged for enrollment in engineering, computer and music programs. These fees are approximately $1,600 for one term, $2,200 for two terms and $4,000 for the year.

Students not housed in university residence halls will be guaranteed IFSA-Butler program accommodation with a supplemental fee of approximately $1,000–$1,700 for the fall, $2,000–$3,000 for the spring and $3,000–$4,000 for the year.

4. University of East Anglia
An additional fee of approximately $975 will be assessed for the drama term program to cover costs of London accommodation. Science students must cover the costs of labs, lab coats, etc.

5. †King's College London
Additional fees are charged for enrollment in science, geography and music programs. These fees are approximately $1,000 for the fall semester, $2,000 for the spring semester and $4,000 for the year. These fees are prorated on the basis of the percentage of courses taken in these disciplines.

Several residence halls have mandatory board plans. Students assigned to these halls will be billed approximately $1,000 for the fall semester, $1,700 for the spring semester and $2,500 for the academic year. Students not housed in university residence halls will be guaranteed IFSA-Butler program accommodation with a supplemental fee of approximately $1,000–$1,700 for the fall, $2,000–$3,000 for the spring and $3,000–$4,000 for the year.

6. University of Leeds
Students assigned to residence halls with mandatory meal plans will be billed approximately $1,000 for the semester or $2,500 for the year.

7. †London School of Economics and Political Science
The housing fee for LSE is for self-catered accommodation in Carr-Saunders Hall only. Housing at Carr-Saunders is not available during the December break or during spring break.

In addition to the housing component of the IFSA-Butler program fee bill, (see Program Fee Bills above), students will receive a duplicate housing invoice in British pounds from LSE after their arrival in London. In order to avoid eviction from housing, students must turn this invoice over to IFSA-Butler’s London office for payment.

Students placed in LSE housing other than Carr-Saunders Hall will be billed by IFSA-Butler for a supplemental accommodation cost of 2,000-$4,800 per year, depending on the housing assignment. Housing during the December and spring breaks may not be included in the housing fee.

8. University of Nottingham
Students assigned to residence halls with mandatory meal plans will be charged approximately $1,000 for each term or $3,000 for the year.

9. Oxford University
Additional fees are charged for each laboratory-based course. These fees are approximately $600 for one term, $1,200 for two terms and $1,800 for the year.

10. Queen Mary, University of London
Students not housed in university residence halls will be guaranteed IFSA-Butler program accommodation with a supplemental fee of approximately $1,000–$1,700 for the fall, $2,000–$3,000 for the spring and $3,000–$4,000 for the year.

11. †Royal Holloway, University of London
S tudents enrolled in music performance courses will be required to pay a £700 fee directly to the music department at Royal Holloway.

12. †SOAS, University of London
If assigned to an intercollegiate hall with a mandatory board plan the board charge is approximately $1,800 for the year or $900 per semester. Students not housed in university residence halls will be guaranteed IFSA-Butler program accommodation with a supplemental fee of approximately $1,000–$1,700 for the fall, $2,000–$3,000 for the spring and $3,000–$4,000 for the year.

13. †University College London/Slade
Additional fees are charged for enrollment in Slade School of Fine Art, Bartlett, and science and engineering departments. These fees are approximately $3,100 for the fall semester, $4,000 for the spring semester and $6,400 for the year. The same charges apply to anthropology, archaeology, geography and psychology. This additional charge is based on the department to which the student is admitted.

Students not housed in university residence halls will be guaranteed IFSA-Butler program accommodation with a supplemental fee of approximately $1,000–$1,700 for the fall, $2,000–$3,000 for the spring and $3,000–$4,000 for the year.
