What the Queen’s summer program has to offer
• A choice of two terrific program options: Irish Studies or Ties that Bind: Linking Irish and American History
• Internationally recognized scholars who lecture on Irish history, anthropology, politics, language, literature, film and theatre
• Field trips to historical and cultural landmarks
• Location in the heart of the south side of Belfast, known for its hip atmosphere and student culture

Housing
• Single bedroom with shared bathroom, kitchen and living area in university-operated housing
• Just a 15-minute walk from the center of campus
• Residence serves a hot breakfast each morning

Academics
• Irish studies focuses on Irish history and culture, with emphasis on the Northern Ireland experience
• Ties that Bind concentrates on the historical connections between the U.S. and Ireland
• Earn 3 U.S. semester credit hours
• Course work is complemented by field trips
