Mallory Matsumoto Cornell University Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Mallory joined the PUCP swim team and competed with her teammates at Universiada Arequipa 2010, similar to an Olympic Games for universities in Peru. The PUCP swim team placed 2nd overall, and Mallory was awarded 3 silver medals, including one with her teammates for the relay race. Mallory (pictured second from right below) also won a bronze medal.

Christopher Morriss University of Vermont Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Christopher has been accepted to the Peace Corps and will serve in Ecuador. Christopher is a premed major and intends to enter medical school after his service in the Peace Corps. He hopes to use his Spanish language skills as a doctor and, if the opportunity presents itself, practice medicine abroad.
Olivia Singer Brown University Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Olivia will be working with the Organization of American States (OSA) as an observer to Peru's presidential, congressional and Andean Parliament elections. Congratulations to Olivia for securing this important and exciting opportunity.
Leah Thompson Smith College Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Leah received a scholarship from Smith's Praxis Fund to spend the Peruvian summer working with La Casa de Panchita (House of Panchita) and to work with a mentoring program in Pamplona (a shantytown of Lima). La Casa de Panchita is an organization that works with domestic workers. According to Leah, "It's an organization that is staffed by a tight-knit group of wonderful people and the work they do is not only really important, but well planned and creative. And it's an incredible place and I've had a lot of luck getting to work there."
Abigail Walworth Barnard College Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Abigail will be working with the Organization of American States (OSA) as an observer to Peru's presidential, congressional and Andean Parliament elections.
