• Specially designed courses for students with high-intermediate to advanced levels of Spanish • Excellent opportunity for students to complete requirements for Spanish major or minor
• Visits to historic and cultural sites in and around Málaga incorporated into program classes

Academics
• Mandatory intensive Spanish language course focuses on conversation and listening skills along with emphasis on reading, grammar and composition • Two additional program courses introduce students to the literature and contemporary history of Spain
• All program courses are offered at the high-intermediate and advanced levels
• Each course is worth 3 U.S. semester credit hours
• Level II "Writers of Málaga" course includes informal discussion with contemporary Spanish authors
• Level I "Writers of Málaga" course includes special literary tour of Málaga
