Students studying at the Universidad de Málaga have the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of venues during the semester or year. IFSA-Butler works with La Plataforma para la Promoción del Voluntariado, a local organization in Málaga, in order to match students with available volunteer opportunities. A few of the participating organizations include, but are not limited to, the following:

• ACP, provides tutoring services
• Autismo Málaga, assists people with autism
• CEAR, school tutoring program for immigrant children
• Cruz Roja Española, assist the elderly
• MPDL Málaga, immigrant assistance
• Once Málaga, work with individuals with visual disabilities
• HNAS Hospitalarías SCJ, assist mental health patients in the hospital
• La Protectora de Animales, focuses on providing care to animals
• Aulaga, environmental protection and advocacy
