UCL offers internships through its Global Health and Anthropology departments. Placements are available in government, non-profits, businesses and community organizations. Interns work on a project of their choice and also take a short course through UCL's Department of Anthropology. Interns work 10 to 20 days during the semester, usually one day per week.

Interns may be any major, but internship projects must focus on anthropology, public health or politics.

Participating organizations vary, but past employers have included the British Ministry of Defence, Médecins du Monde, and Marie Stopes International.
