• Students have access to sports and cultural activities and USM campus facilitiesThis program offers high intermediate–low advanced Spanish language and Chilean studies.

Housing
• IFSA-Butler arranges housing with a carefully selected host family
• IFSA-Butler program fee includes three meals per day

Academics
• Students take a Spanish language course
• Choose three or four courses in addition to the Spanish language course
• Students take a total of 15-16 U.S. semester credit hours
• Courses are taught by university faculty
• Courses are not integrated with regular university curriculum
• Earn 1 U.S. semester credit hour by participating in the community service project throughout the duration of the semester
• Choose from up to seven courses ranging from Chilean history to Latin American environmental issues
