MORE CULTURE. LESS SHOCK. Programs, Internships and Volunteer Opportunities

Study Abroad Programs in Wales

Flag of WalesFew study abroad locations can rival the beauty, history and adventure of Wales. Long a hidden gem of Britain, American students are choosing Wales as a historic, friendly destination that offers one of Britain's most renowned universities and a truly integrated study experience.

Nowhere else but Wales will you have so many opportunities at your fingertips. The city of Cardiff, recently voted one of Britain's six "cities of elegance," is a cosmopolitan setting but has limitless nature and adventure activities just minutes away. Throughout the rest of Wales you'll find friendly people, amazing cultural opportunities, and some of the world's best preserved history, including 400––yes, 400––castles.

The arts flourish in Wales, which is perhaps no surprise given the many actors, singers, writers, and other artists who hail from Wales: Catherine Zeta-Jones, Anthony Hopkins, Charlotte Church, Richard Burton, Laura Ashley, Dylan Thomas, Tom Jones and countless others.

Consider Wales for an academically and culturally fulfilling experience. Croeso i Gymru!
