Studying abroad in: Argentina Host University: Universidad Cuyo, Mendoza U.S. University: Soka Major: Environmental Studies Year: Junior
I’m Yona, but in Spanish-speaking countries I go by Paloma. (Both translate to “dove” in English.) I'm from a small town in New Mexico, studying in California. I'm working on my bachelors in, ahem, liberal arts, with a focus on environmental studies. I'm really interested in food production (and consumption), art, writing, and conversation. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions!
What’s It Really Like?
Each semester IFSA-Butler students chronicle their adventures and experiences as they live and study in different countries. Read a firsthand perspective of how cultural and educational differences shape their journey.
