Culture Shock being in America

I was very excited to go home and be amongst things that i thought was familiar to me, but i found that i had gotten more use to my new home of Israel than i originally thought. I arrived home and i must of asked the first 3 people people i talked to if they spoke english. I quickly had to apologize and tell them that i had been abroad for a while, in which they would smile and laugh.  For meals i could barely finish them, because i have gotten aquainted with eating smaller portions. it seems as if everything has changed since i have been gone and i am looking forward to catching up with everybody.  I am also very excited to one day go back to Israel and am confident that the friends i made there would welcome me back with open arms.  overall it was an amazing time over there and am looking for any excuse to return.
