This weekend found me frolicking around the crazy-not-real city of Amsterdam! I say it’s “not a real city” because I felt like I was living in some sort of odd bubble while I was there. People there are much friendlier than anyone I have stumbled upon in London Town and seem to always want to strike up a conversation or help you find where you’re going. The Dutch were great people. While there I was lucky enough to go to the Anne Frank House, which was extremely moving and another reason as to why Amsterdam is so surreal. There is so much history there it is amazing. My friends & I ate our way through the city at their wonderful restaurants (if anyone is going you MUST go to Winkel 43 & The Pancake Bakery- Google ‘em). We also did the Heineken Tour where my friend Emily & I became “certified pourers” (it only took me 8 tries). It was another great weekend in the wonderful land of Europe!
