14 days.  6 Cities.  3 Countries.  326,598 steps.  129.89 miles.

Our minds loved it but our legs could not hate us more. Over the course of 2 weeks, we meandered our way through Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome, Vienna, and Salzburg with impeccable stamina.   It is difficult to put into words the emotions we felt upon seeing some of the most famous sights in the entire world in real life.  Most of the trip felt like an enigma, as if the Eiffel Tower, the canals of Venice, the Colosseum, and the von Trapp mansion were all objects from a fairytale, things that we’d never have the chance to see in real life.

Somewhere between tears of awe and shrieks of excitement, we crossed countless items off the bucket list of any great traveler.  At the close of our 2 week expedition, we could not have been happier to hear the Scottish accent of the flight attendant leading us back home, but the wonderful, hilarious, and adventure-filled memories we made across France, Italy, and Austria are something that will last a lifetime.
