Custom Programs

Creative Collaboration

IFSA takes a creative approach to the many ways we collaborate with U.S. institutional partners. All custom programs include our fundamentals – assistance with planning, marketing and advising as well as emergency support services, comprehensive medical and liability insurance and a tailored orientation program. Then we work closely with partners to identify how we can design a global learning environment through an intentional combination of academic enhancements and co-curricular activities. Of course, we’re happy to provide in-country transportation, housing and other logistical arrangements integral to the success of your program abroad.

We invite you to contact IFSA staff to schedule an exploratory call or complete the online request form to start the conversation about your custom program!

What Your Colleagues Are Saying

“I cannot begin to tell you how grateful and thankful I was to work with IFSA in Peru! There is something particularly satisfying in seeing and feeling the support that they provided to me and this group – especially after telling so many people that they can expect unparalleled support. We all felt it!”
Anne Frey

Portland Community College

“Throughout our extensive vetting process, we were incredibly impressed with the high quality of Alliance programs, but we also needed a partner with flexibility and the sophistication to manage a complex customized program. Now, I can say with complete confidence that we made the right choice: Alliance staff have been amazingly responsive, patient, and helpful and our students and faculty have had a wonderful experience inside and outside the classroom.”
Giselda Beaudin
Director of International Programs
Rollins College

“IFSA has been a good partner since 2011 in multiple locations, providing UC San Diego students participating in summer faculty-led programs high quality on-site student services, expert local knowledge, and reliable emergency support. We are excited that they are expanding their focus on customized programs.”
Tonia J. Pizer
Global Seminars Coordinator
University of California San Diego

“By working with IFSA, the Teacher Education Program at the University of Virginia was able to put together a quality student teaching experience in Northern Ireland for our students who expressed an interest in global education. Their staff understand our faculty’s expectations and our program needs and have made what could have been a complicated and long process seem easy and sustainable!”
