Peru has one of the earth’s richest ecosystems on earth, including the Pacific coastline, the Andes mountains and the Amazon rainforest. In addition to its natural wonders, it is home of many of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites.

In this diverse atmosphere you’ll find amazing ancient sites like Machu Picchu, Caral and Huaca Pucllana — and you’ll visit them all! You’ll have access to Peruvian tutors for Spanish instruction so you’ll be prepared to fully experience Peru.
You can enhance your study abroad experience through community-based learning. As part of the required Peruvian Social Reality course, students contribute time to a local NGO focused on a range of areas including social justice, human rights, gender issues and sustainable development.
Go Back in Time
Peru is home to ancient cultures dating back thousands of years. Archaeology majors can work at Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Incan site (700 AD) that is under excavation today – and all students can learn about and appreciate Peru’s unique history.
