Customize your summer in a way that works best for you!
Choose up to two 3 U.S. semester credit hour classes from one or both of our shorter summer online sessions—or combine sessions for eight weeks to complete an IFSA internship, earning 3 U.S. semester credit hours and valuable work experience. You can add classes to that experience for up to a total of 12 U.S. credit hours for the summer.
IFSA-curated courses explore contemporary topics in economics and political science, Spanish, communication and marketing, health and psychology. Not all courses may be offered in a given session depending on enrollment.

Participate on a small team of IFSA students to complete real-world projects presented by an international organization. Our eight-week remote internship allows you to leverage your unique background and interest as you work with other interns to research, analyze, and present business solutions. Engaging in an intercultural and a remote workplace provides a timely opportunity to develop professional skills and competencies that are increasingly relevant in today’s world.
Locations of international partner organizations may include Argentina, China, the Czech Republic, India, Italy, Mexico, or Spain. Supervision and student support are jointly managed by the in-placement supervisor, on-site Resident Director, and the faculty for our Internship and Methodology Seminar class.
In addition to our seminars, interns are engaged for 15 or more hours per week in business sectors such as Communications, Computer Science, Education, Finance, Global and Public Health, Hospitality and Tourism, Human Rights, Management, or Marketing.
