Intermediate Spanish and Argentine Culture (6 U.S. semester credit hours)

Experiential Learning
IFSA offers volunteer opportunities for students on this program. Volunteering does not earn academic credit and will not appear on your Butler University transcript. Volunteer opportunities mostly surround group activities or events on set days (two or three "jornadas") throughout the summer program. Opportunities may include work at an organic farm or helping out at a bilingual school.
In addition to the Intermediate Spanish class, our program organizes tutoring sessions for students throughout the summer. These may be scheduled at various times during the week, when students meet with the tutor on an individual basis. Please meet with the IFSA resident staff if you would like the assistance of a tutor.
After you return to the U.S., IFSA will send a Butler University transcript to your home university and to your permanent address. The transcript reflects the courses taken, credits attempted, and grades earned during your term abroad. This service is included in your study abroad program at no additional cost
