Academics at Summer in Prague

Summer Session I
Take a course in business, technology, film studies or fine arts (4 U.S. semester credit hours each): Summer Session II
Students who stay on for the second session will spend the session completing research through a Professional Development Project (4 U.S. semester credit hours), a dynamic field-based learning experience that provides students with the opportunity to learn more about their professional areas of interest through structured application of theory to practice. Through a combination of visits and experiences, students will actively survey an industry.
Available areas of research include: Business, Computer Science, Criminology, Economics, Finance, History, Management, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology.
After you return to the U.S., IFSA will send a Butler University transcript to your home university and to your permanent address. The transcript reflects the courses taken, credits attempted, and grades earned during your term abroad. This service is included in your study abroad program at no additional cost

Housing & Meals

Housing Type
All students live in centrally located, fully furnished flats in Prague. Students have single bedrooms but will share a bathroom. Apartments are located in beautiful historic buildings and include a common dining area and kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, oven and stovetop. There is no meal plan for this program; students purchase their meals or cook for themselves.
