Courses
To view available courses for the London College of Fashion's Free Elective program, visit the college's online course catalog. On the left sidebar, you'll see all of the available subjects. Choose a Semester option to learn about mandatory modules (courses) and electives.

The Semester option is for students with a strong interest in art, design, or fashion and will have taken a number of classes in these areas. Students will be studying alongside other overseas students with opportunities to collaborate with local students. The Semester option is available in the fall and spring, and offers 14-week terms.

Course Restrictions
Course descriptions in the online course catalog include prerequisites and portfolio requirements that you must fulfill in order to apply to the course when applicable. You will be accepted to study in Year 1 or Year 2 of the course you have chosen, on the basis of your course background and experience. Students can take only one course of study in one subject. If you are interested in multiple art forms and have the background experience and completed coursework in both, you must choose one.
Transcripts
After you return to the U.S., IFSA-Butler will send a Butler University transcript to your home university and to your permanent address. The transcript reflects the courses taken, credits attempted, and grades earned during your term abroad. This service is included in your study abroad program at no additional cost
