Courses
Open the University of Technology, Sydney online course catalog to explore the classes that are available. Be sure to look at the "subjects" list when search; this term is used synonymously with class.

 A full load at UTS is 24 points, or 15-16 U.S. credit hours. The number of courses you take depends on the credit value of the courses you select.  

3 UTS credits = 2 U.S. semester credit hours
4 UTS credits = 2.5 U.S. semester credit hours
6 UTS credits = 4 U.S. semester credit hours
8 UTS credits = 5 U.S. semester credit hours

Please review all your syllabi and course materials when you are registering for classes (both pre-arrival and on-site). Certain classes may have a one-off lab or field trip fee that is disclosed in the syllabus or first meeting of class. You will be responsible for these fees, whether they are billed and paid by IFSA or billed to you.
Course Restrictions
Fourth-year (400-level) courses and higher are part of a postgraduate degree (Masters or Ph.D.). You are not eligible to take these courses as an undergraduate study abroad student.
Transcripts
After you return to the U.S., IFSA will send a Butler University transcript to your home university and to your permanent address. The transcript reflects the courses taken, credits attempted, and grades earned during your term abroad. This service is included in your study abroad program at no additional cost

Details
IFSA students are housed at Urbanest Apartments. All apartments hold eight IFSA students in four twin bedrooms, each bedroom with a private bathroom. The apartments include a fully functioning kitchen (housing is self-catered) and lounge room that includes a flat screen television. A linen pack, including a fitted sheet, pillow, pillow case, duvet, bath towel, and hand towel, is provided for each student.
