I love seeing new generations of students excited about all the opportunities IFSA has made available to them. My best, long-lasting friendships are with like-minded professionals in the field who have made this job the best career in the world!

Amy graduated from Butler University cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry (ACS) and has a Master's in Public Affairs (MPA) in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University. She was the MPA graduate student of the year and gave the school commencement address when she graduated.

Travel Experience

Amy studied abroad on an IFSA-Butler program in Adelaide, Australia and has visited almost all IFSA-Butler program locations around the world. She recently visited China for the first time and got to experience culture shock just like a student. She is so in awe of those students choosing to go off the beaten path and try something out of their comfort zone.

Did You Know?

Amy has visited 47 states and 5 Continents and hopes to make it 50 and 7. Her husband, David, was the first IFSA-Butler applicant back in 1988 and was Amy's program advisor when she studied abroad!
