Being welcomed into another culture, understanding its people on their own terms and their spoken and unspoken languages changed my life. I believe every human in the world should be offered this experience for the benefit of mankind.
Prior to IFSA

I graduated from Skidmore College with a B.A in Religious Study and a minor in Asian Studies. I have an M.A in International Education with a focus on inclusive practices in study abroad, teacher training and curriculum development.
I studied abroad in London at the University of Westminster. A little over a year after graduating from college I lived and worked in Japan for 7 years.
