I'm a big believer in winging it. I believe that you're never going to find a perfect city travel experience or the perfect meal without a constant willingness to experience a bad one. Letting the happy accident happen is what a lot of vacation itineraries miss, I think, and am always trying to push people to allow those things to happen rather than stick to some rigid itinerary—Anthony Bourdain
Prior to IFSA
I worked for companies with global footprints in both technology and manufacturing. These early work experiences sparked my passion for international business and working with colleagues all around the world.
I graduated from the Kelley School of Business, at Indiana University Bloomington, with a bachelor's degree in Business and a minor in Spanish.
In my own "winging-it" travels have helped me to grow, both personally and professionally, and having the opportunity to help students study abroad is very exciting. I have been very fortunate to have opportunities to travel through Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Central and South America, for both work and fun.It was through these trips that I have come to more fully appreciate other cultures, and the value of the friendships & connections that have lasted over the years.
Did You Know?
In my dreams, I have an urban micro farm in my back yard and use my own seasonal produce in my kitchen experiments to create gourmet meals for friends and family. In reality, my gardening skills need some work and my harvest successes usually include only a handful of tomatoes, peppers and green beans.
