I chose to work at IFSA because I genuinely believe that study abroad can change the world. When you find yourself immersed in a new culture, and break out of your comfort zone, you gain a new perspective on the privileges you may have otherwise never known you have.
Prior to IFSA
Prior to IFSA, she was a full-time student at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. During this time, she led the Marketing efforts for Jagathon: IUPUI’s Dance Marathon, and worked in retail.
Sarah has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business from Indiana University (IUPUI). She majored in Marketing with minors in Graphic Design and Advertising.
In high school, Sarah visited France and Spain on a short-term, art-based study abroad program. During her undergrad, she traveled to Austria and the Czech Republic for Marketing and International Business Studies. She has visited nine countries, but the most profound experience to her was her mission work in Mexico.
Did You Know?
Salvador Dalí is Sarah’s favorite artist, and she’s seen his works in four different countries including The Dalí Theatre and Museum, in his home town of Figueres, in Catalonia, Spain. “It was a surreal experience to say the least.”
